A Query

Just wondering if anyone else has this problem. Every now and then one of the blogs I am following will disappear off my radar. The blog is still live but I receive no notifications of new posts and find that I have disappeared from the followers list. Is it just me?

And by way of a pretty picture -

here's a not very good one taken from my bathroom window during quite a heavy rainstorm this afternoon. It's amazing what a bit of warmth has done for the new growth. I love Spring!

  1. That is a very inviting path you have there, love the spring flowers growing all round! I have the same problem sometimes, some blogs seem to go to the Bermuda Triangle of Blogland...Chrissie x

  2. Lovely garden. I have a similar problem, when I log in sometimes I'm told I'm not following any blogs and all the blogs on my list have disappeared, a couple of hours later and back they come.

  3. No it is not you, that happened to me too! Although I thought maybe the blogger had blocked me or something like that.

  6. Yes!!!! In fact it is only by pure chance that I saw this post, as earlier you had not popped up on my list and now you are back again. I have no idea where you went - along with some others I might add - and how you then came back again! You are not alone, but the missing ones do seem to return magically all by themselves if that is any consolation! Your garden is looking lovely by the way!! xx

  9. I have that problem and I'm also having trouble using the followers gadget on blogs. I've been moving my followed blogs over to Bloglovin so I can keep reading them as normal.

  11. Yes I've had the same problem and I am doing the same as Jennifer and moving the recently followed blogs over to my list on Bloglovin. I've also created a list on Twitter of blogger's Twitter accounts so that I can make sure I don't miss their posts on there too. I've found a couple of times now that when I go to follow it comes up with an error, so obviously some glitches in the system somewhere.

  12. I've barely had enough time to visit much less notice if things are wonky. People go a little crazy when they think something is coming to an end and they switch to something else which then causes problems. Some of my favorites upgraded to Google+ and now I can't comment on their blogs because I would also need to upgrade and don't want to. I just everyone would leave well enough alone. If it works, don't mess with it. Your garden is looking very lovely. Happy Spring! And happy weekend wishes. Tammy

  13. Oh that garden photograph is a classic early springtime view. Thank you for letting us share the beauty.

Yes, sometimes favorite blogs have sort of dropped from sight. Sometimes they return. It could be technology or could be the wishes of the blog's writer. I am glad to have found your posts...please don't move! xo

Not sure on the evaporating blogs~ I think computers and anything contained inside them can be very mysterious at times.... :(((

  19. Hasn't happened to me. Look at your Spring! Beautiful. I keep thinking we're never going to get one, it's freezing here. Although I did see a tiny crocus this morning while walking Max. Hope springs eternal!

  20. Not noticed that problem myself, hope it doesn't happen to you again. Wonder if a server is out of action and you are only getting basic data back, just an idea. Your garden is delightful, and if we didn't have rain we'd be yearning for colour.
