A little bit of cheer

I'm supposed to be marking.

I'm supposed to be planning lessons.

I'm supposed to be doing so many other things at the moment.

It's cold and grey outside and I'm tucked up indoors by the fire. I need a little bit of cheeriness. My vase of freesias is eminating the most delicate scent and just that is reminding me that Spring can't be far away.

Cheeriness achieved.

I hope you are all managing to keep safe and dry in this bizarre weather we are having. Heart felt wishes to those of you affected.

  2. I'm supposed to be doing lots of things too, but its Sunday and its such an awful day, I think we can be forgiven for putting things off and just relaxing.

  4. I've done very little all day and am very pleased about it! Responsibilities can just stay away until the weather improves, I'm much happier mooching about in my jammies at the mo...;-) Chrissie x

  5. Here, here...I'm never doing what I'm supposed to be doing, but my heart goes out to those affected so badly by the weather..It never seems to stop raining...I always seemed to have so many busy days when my little ones were little, that now i try and do a little some thing for me and try very, very hard to not feel guilty about this...I'm thinking it stems from being a woman....hehe..
Enjoy your rest of Sunday, Mrs...
