My June mood board
Iceberg and dog roses, mock orange, loosestrife, geraniums, peony, cotoneaster, fennel, alchemilla mollis, lemon balm, marjoram, saxifraga, petunia, honeysuckle, pansy, lavender,
comfrey
There was no foraging around this time, the garden was very generous. It's this time of year that all comes good and you remember why you fell in love with it in the first place. I only have time for a few photos this month as today has seen me going on a mysterious mooch - more on that next time - so with a fond farewell it's goodbye to June.
Roll on July!

So lovely ... I love how the garden comes good in summer ... I am working on finding out what my climber is ... I am a fairweather gardener and only learning :) ... Bee xx
ReplyDeleteReally pretty flowers and I love your photos of them. Your garden must be splendid.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it great when you don't have to forage to find some colour to fill the vases around the home! It was such a warm day wasn't it? I feel all out of sorts now that there wasn't the usual squelching through mud!! Have a great week (I can't believe it's July tomorrow!). Chel x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, beautiful flowers, and they just scream that it's summer :D
ReplyDeleteBeautiful July already, how did that happen! :) x
ReplyDeleteLovely flowers, so beautiful. I am ready to be done with June myself.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Meredith
Oh if your garden is full of those flowers, Jane, it must be lovely! Fingers crossed for a bit more sunshine as I am camping at the weekend. (Foolish woman, I am too old to be camping!!)
ReplyDeleteYour garden must be so pretty at the moment, you have so many lovely flowers.
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are absolutely beautiful. The flowers in the last shot would be my ideal Wedding bouquet - hand-picked, summery, just lovely. Mel x
ReplyDeleteI love all the white blossoms - beautiful photography! I haven't had comfrey in the garden since it got drowned out a few years ago...do you make fertiliser with it? Chrissie x
ReplyDeleteHi Chrissie
DeleteWe have made fertiliser with it before and used it to line the bottom of the potato trench when we had an allotment but now, sigh, our garden is too small :( x
Exquisite blooms the beautiful simplicity of the rose and don't they look gorgeous all together ~ Sarah x
ReplyDeleteYour garden is doing beautifully. The weather is crazy, it's feast or famine around here, right now we're sweltering that wasn't the case two weeks ago. Oh well.
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are lovely, especially the white ones. Your garden must be doing well!

Hi Jane!
ReplyDeleteLovely to find your blog... What's the Yellow flower called - at the bottom of your top photo? We get them in the garden every year & I've never known. There's another photo of it just above the photo with 'Roll On July' under it.
Thanks!
